After qualifying from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) I undertook a two year internship at the University. This was followed by three years as a clinician and researcher in Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging where I completed a PhD based on the clinical, laboratory and ultrasonographic findings in dogs infected by Babesia canis. After completing a three-year residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of Edinburgh, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2013, I achieved the European Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging in 2014.
