Andrea Fischer is Professor of Veterinary Neurology and Head of the Neurology Service at LMU University of Munich, Germany. Andrea Fischer graduated from LMU University of Munich in 1987 and completed doctoral research inor clinical research in veterinary neurology in 1990. She was a resident in small animal neurology at the University of Georgia (USA) from 1992 - 1994, clinical instructor at the University of Gainesville (USA) in 1996 and completed her habilitation in 2000. Andrea Fischer is an active researcher in the field of veterinary neurology and epilepsy, a well-known author of book chapters and numerous scientific publications. She is Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology and Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine since 1995, member of the International Veterinary Epilepsy Task Force and corresponding member of the European Academy of Neurology
