Katia is a veterinary neurologist/neurosurgeon with over 20 years of experience in this field. She specialized in Neurology in the USA and held various academic positions in USA and UK before moving to private practice and currently divides her time working in the South of England and Scotland. Over the years she had the privilege to present at various national and international meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals. Katia is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and she is especially proud to have contributed to the training of many students, neurologists and surgeons in USA and UK. Katia’s areas of interest include feline neurology, brain and neuromuscular diseases, and medical and surgical treatment of intervertebral disc disease.
