Arianna Negrin, DVM, PhD, MSE, DECVN Associate Professor in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery Department of Clinical Sciences Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University, New Jersey, U.S.A. Prof. Arianna Negrin is a board-certified veterinary neurologist with over 20 years of experience in clinical neurology, neurosurgery, and academic medicine across Europe and the United States. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Padua (Italy) and completed a neurology internship at the Royal Veterinary College (UK). She subsequently obtained a PhD in veterinary neurology through a joint program between the University of Padua and the Royal Veterinary College, followed by a three-year residency in neurology and neurosurgery at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. After achieving Diplomate status with the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN), she has held specialist and leadership roles in referral centers in the UK and Italy, contributing to the development and structuring of neurology services. She later transitioned into academia, serving as Associate Professor at the University of Florida and currently as Founding Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine, Rowan University (USA). Her clinical and research interests focus on inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system, particularly feline neurology, as well as advanced neuroimaging and neurosurgical techniques. She has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in the field. Beyond clinical practice, her work increasingly focuses on the development and structuring of neurology services, training of veterinary teams, and alignment of clinical standards across institutions. She is fluent in four languages (Italian, English, Spanish, and Catalan), enabling effective communication and collaboration across international clinical and academic environments.
