Since 2017, she has been a Faculty in Neurology/Neurosurgery at the Clinic for Small Animals, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Foundation. From March to August 2022, she served as a faculty in the Neurology/Neurosurgery Service at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, University of California, Davis, USA. She also completed an external rotation in Small Animal Neurology and Diagnostic Imaging at NC State Veterinary Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA in 2016. She is Diplomate of the ECVN since 2017. Her professional journey includes an ECVN Residency (2014-2017) and an Internship at the Clinic for Small Animals, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Foundation (2013). Prior to that, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Neurology Department at the Hannover Medical School from 2012 to 2013. Currently, she is actively researching inflammatory diseases of the nervous system in cats and dogs. She is also involved in pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence to use in veterinary neurology. In 2022, she secured grant for her project "Development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or a trained Neural Network (NN) for the interpretation of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans of the Central Nervous System (CNS) in dogs." provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
