Anna graduated from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain 2012. She underwent a rotating internship, followed by one year of Neurology internship and an ECVN residency programme in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Ars Veterinaria (2012-2017). She obtained the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Neurology in 2018 and was also recognised as a specialist in Veterinary Neurology by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. From 2018-2021 Anna worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh. From 2021-2023 Anna worked as a Head of the Neurology department and Clinical Director of Anicura Ars Veterinaria, Barcelona. Since 2021 she works as a Teleconsultant Specialist at VetCT. In 2024 she started working at the Universidad Europea and Hospital Veterinaria del Mar, as head of the neurology services. Anna is interested in all aspects of veterinary neurology but has particular interest in the investigation of brain tumors, neuroimaging, neurosurgery and innovative techniques for teaching.
