Graduating with honours in 2014 from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Spain, I went on to join the Neuropathology department at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) for a five-month collaboration under the supervision of Dr. Martí Pumarola i Battle. I then completed a rotating internship at UAB’s Teaching Hospital, followed by a year in general practice at BalmesVet in Barcelona. In 2017, I moved to the UK to undertake a rotating internship at Pride Veterinary Centre, where I later completed their European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) residency programme. In 2022, I obtained the ECVN Diploma, becoming a board-certified veterinary neurologist. I am passionate about all aspects of veterinary clinical neurology, with particular interests in neurosurgery and neuropathology.
