Laura Porcarelli has been interested in neurology since graduating from the University of Perugia in 2007, where she completed a thesis on the surgical treatment of caudal cervical spondylomyelopathy in dogs. She is a member of the Italian (SINVET) and European (ESVN) veterinary neurology societies, where she attends continuing education courses on neurology, neuropathology, electrodiagnostics, and diagnostic imaging. She also participates as a speaker in meetings and congresses. She is the author and co-author of several scientific publications related to neurology and diagnostic imaging. She completed a residency program under the supervision of Dr. Daniele Corlazzoli and obtained the European Diploma in Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) in 2025. She has been working as a neurologist in Rome since 2008 and has been collaborating with the Centro Veterinario Gregorio VII since 2021, focusing on neurology, neurosurgery, and electrodiagnostics.
