Passionate about veterinary neurology and neurosurgery Koen graduated cum laude from the Utrecht University in the Netherlands in 2015. Until 2020, he worked in general and referral practice before starting his ECVN residency. Currently, he works as a specialist in veterinary neurology in Evidensia Small Animal Hospitals Arnhem and Hart van Brabant (Waalwijk), The Netherlands. He has published numerous scientific peer-reviewed veterinary neurology articles as a first author and co-authored several others (ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7552-216X). His passion lies in the field of clinical neurology and neurosurgery.
