Marion Mucha studied veterinary medicine in Vienna, Austria, and already dealt with physical therapy as part of her doctoral thesis, which she completed in 2005. Since 2002 she has been working in the Outpatient Clinic for Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at the Vetmeduni Vienna. In the course of her clinical and scientific career, she has given numerous lectures in Austria and abroad and conducted research in the field of kinesiology, physiotherapy and acupuncture in dogs. She has been a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA, IVAS International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) since 2004 and a certified physiotherapist for dogs (CCRP, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, University of Tennessee in cooperation with Schlossseminare) since 2007. Her book "Checkliste Akupunktur für Kleintiere" was published in 2010. She has been a CVPP (Certified veterinary pain practitioner, IVAPM) since 2016 and a European Veterinary Specialist in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (Dipl ECVSMR) since 2018.
