Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Camerino in 1999, he received a PhD in Hygiene and Production in Aquaculture at the same university in 2004. He has carried out internships at European universities and at present he is Associate Professor in Veterinary Pathology at the School of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine of the University of Camerino. His main research activity is the pathology of aquatic organism. He is author and co-author of more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed international indexed journals (WOS/Scopus) and more than 90 contributions as reports and posters at the annual congresses of EAFP, SISVET-AIPVet, ESVP.
