Vittorio M. Moretti received his veterinary degree from the University of Milan in 1987 and a PhD in Animal Husbandry and Hygiene from the University of Perugia in 1991. He joined the University of Milan as researcher in 1992. At present is professor in Animal Husbandry and Director of the Veterinary Specialization School on Farming, Hygiene, Pathology of Aquatic Animals and control of derived food at the University of Milan. He has authored more than 90 WOS indexed publications on aquaculture, fish biology, fish nutrition and quality, including book chapters. He is member of the editorial board of the journal Fishes.
