Experience mainly in the study of pathogenesis of infective diseases that interest domestic animals. For more than fifteen years, the research has been focalised on aquaculture of fish for Italy and U.E. This activity has interested 2 main sectors: 1. the study of agents causing infective diseases of fresh water and salt water fish, the study of the pathogenesis of these diseases includes the valuation of the factor of risk for the food security connected to the presence of pathologies in fish; 2. the study to improve the knowledge of immune system of fish ,the evaluation of the immunological parameters to control the efficiency of the immunological state of the fish and use the parameters for the valuation of the welfare of the reared fish.
