1986: Degree in Veterinary Medicine cum laude Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - University of Milan, Italy. 1990: Visiting scientist at the Department of Animal Science, Embryo Technology Laboratory, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, U.S.A. 1992: PhD Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - University of Milan, Italy. 1992-2000: Assistant Professor in Veterinary Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Milan. 1993-1994: Adjunct Research Scientist Department of Physiology and Pharmacology - College of Veterinary Medicine - University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, U.S.A. 2015: Full Professor in Veterinary Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Milan. ECAR diplomat (European College of Animal Reproduction) from 2002. Member of Academic Senate from 2012 to 2015 and member of Committee for University Quality Assurance (2015-19) at the University of Milan, Italy. From 2019 to 2021 she was Head of the Depatment of Health, Animal Science and Food Safety, University of Milan. Scientific work has been focused on Theriogenology and Biotechnology of Reproduction in Carnivores: assisted reproduction, cryopreservation of gametes and gonadal tissue, in vitro embryo production and ultrasonographic foetal biometry. The results of the research have been published in more than 200 papers in international and national journals and proceedings of meetings. She has been invited as speaker in national and international meetings. SCOPUS (updated October 2025): h index: 28 and Total Citations: 2170. She is a referee for several international journals (Biology of Reproduction, Theriogenology, Reproduction in Domestic Animals ...).
