I am an associate professor in ruminant reproduction at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. I hold dual board certification as a European Veterinary Specialist in Animal Reproduction (DipECAR) and as an RCVS and Norwegian Specialist in Cattle Health and Production. My career spans clinical farm animal practice, applied research in bovine reproductive performance and food safety, and a sustained commitment to veterinary education, underpinned by formal postgraduate training to master's level. I work across UK and Scandinavian academic, regulatory, and clinical environments, and have extensive experience in examination, accreditation, and quality assurance of veterinary education internationally. I currently supervise four PhD candidates and direct a European specialist residency training programme.
