I am a clinician specialist in Equine Reproduction at Utrecht University since 2023. I graduated from the University of Córdoba, Spain, in 2014 and completed my PhD at the University of Barcelona in 2019. I subsequently completed my residency in Equine Reproduction while working as a clinician specialist and postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University, Belgium. In 2021, I became a Diplomate of the European College of Animal Reproduction (Equine) (ECAR). Today, I combine clinical practice with research in the Equine Reproduction Department, with a particular focus on assisted reproductive technologies, including ovum pick-up (OPU), embryo transfer, and factors influencing embryo production and pregnancy outcomes in horses.
