Stefan Gunnarsson has been Senior lecturer in Sustainable animal production at the Dept. of Animal Environment and Health, SLU since 2012. He has been project leader for several research projects in poultry health and welfare and he is currently coordinating the BroilerNet - a thematic network within the broiler sector funded by EC. He has been Scientific reviewer and member of several national and international expert groups. He was the Chairman of the WOAH Working group on animal welfare for laying hens 2016-. Stefan Gunnarson’s scientific expertise focused on the relation between health and behaviour in pigs and poultry and other species.
