Kevin is based at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies where he is Head of the Behaviour Clinic within the Hospital for Small Animals. Kevin teaches postgraduate students on the University of Edinburgh MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour (where he is Course Organiser for the Clinical Animal Behaviour in Practice module), and behavioural medicine to BVM&S undergraduates. His research interests are diverse, including developing objective measures for the assessment of problem behaviours, assessing the efficacy of treatments for such problems, and furthering the understanding of the complex interplay between medical and behavioural problems in companion animals.
