I graduated from the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2007. After two years as a clinician, and a doctoral thesis about hypersensitivity disorders in cats, I completed a 15-month internship in a large small animal hospital in Switzerland. To bring my great passion closer, I then commenced a three-year residency in animal dermatology at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. I have authored and published multiple articles and case reports in veterinary and human dermatology journals and I am also a reviewer of the international Veterinary Dermatology journal. At the moment I work as an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences of City University in Hong Kong. I am also part of the administrative committee of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology, the current chair of the Examination Committee and member at large of the Asian College of Veterinary Dermatology, a program co-chair of the ECVD-residents education day and a tutor in the Distance Education Course in Veterinary Dermatology at the Centre for Veterinary Education, Sydney University in Australia.
