I graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh in 2008 having completed an intercalated BSc(Hons) at the same institution in 2005. After several years in mixed animal practice, I completed a rotating internship at the University of Liverpool. I returned to general practice and completed the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology gaining CertAVP(VD) status in 2015. I started my ECVD residency in 2017 at The Dermatology Referral Service Glasgow with Dr Hilary Jackson and Dr Peter Forsythe and passed boards in 2020. I returned to my alma mater in August 2022 as a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Dermatology and split my time between clinics, teaching undergraduates and supervising interns and our residents.
