Davide graduated from the University of Padua in Italy in 2001. After few years in practice in 2005, he moved to the United Kingdom to pursue specialisation in oncology. He joined the Animal Health Trust in 2007 as a resident in oncology. In 2010 he completed a Masters in Clinical Oncology at the Department of Medical Sciences, University of Birmingham and in 2014 a PhD at the Department of Veterinary Sciences, University of Bologna. In 2014 he also obtained a European Diploma in Veterinary Oncology and few years later in 2018 a de facto ECVIM add-on in radiotherapy. Davide was head of the Oncology service at Animal Health Trust, then at Dick White Referrals, and from January 2021 at the AniCura Animal Oncology and Imaging Center in Switzerland.
