I have been a vet for >24 years, working in Specialty Practice for >19 years (small animal internal medicine). I am particularly interested in veterinary diagnostics (including clinical pathology and diagnostic imaging) and have worked in referral practice, hospital practice and as a teleconsultant online. I enjoy teaching other vets how to use diagnostics most effectively. I am keen to promote positive mental health in the profession. I am a mentor and have recently trained as a life-coach to add to my consulting skill-set. I am also a co-host of the VetMindWorks podcast. I have a passion for technology, recently completing a degree in genomics/ bioinformatics and won recognition in an innovation training programme around AI-based ideas. I have also worked for the ECVIM-CA to help with their online services and exams.
