I graduated from University of Sydney in 1984 and during my initial 7 years in mixed and small animal private practice I developed my interest in diagnostic imaging. I was successful in the RCVS Certificate examinations in 1991, and the RCVS Diploma examinations in 1993. My initial imaging position was at University of Sydney in 1994, and after returning to the UK developed the referral imaging services at several private referral centres - Wey Referrals (1996), VRCC (2002) and Willows Referrals (2009). I was Senior Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College from 2003 to 2009, during which I was successful in the ECVDI examinations (2008). I have been a member of the RCVS Radiology Board (2002-2012), Treasurer of EAVDI (2003-2005), and an examiner for several examination boards - the RCVS imaging certificate examinations (2001-2005), the RCVS Diploma examinations (2006-2009), the ECVDI examinations (2012-2017), and the Australasian Fellowship examinations (2015-2017). I am currently a member of the tele radiology team working for Idexx.
