
Dr. Elisabetta Treggiari

Elisabetta received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Parma University, Italy, and a Master’s degree in Small Animal Oncology from the University of Pisa.
Post-graduation she completed a one-year rotating Internship at a private referral centre with a focus on medical and radiation oncology. Following this, she undertook an ECVIM-CA approved Oncology Residency at the University of Liverpool, UK, and successfully completed her European Diploma in Small Animal Oncology. She has been a member of the ECVIM-CA Oncology Credentials Committee since 2019, and has served as Associate Editor and Guest Editor for veterinary scientific journals.
She had been working in a busy referral in the UK for a few years before moving back to Italy, where she was responsible for the medical oncology service of a multi-disciplinary private referral centre for 6 years.
Currently she serves as the Clinical Director and owner of an independent referral practice in Milan, Italy.
Elisabetta has authored and co-authored several articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has delivered presentations in international congresses, courses and seminars about various topics in veterinary oncology. Her research interests are focused on novel therapeutics, palliative treatment and quality of life assessment of oncology patients.
