Dr. Paola Valenti graduated from the University of Milan in 2005. She developed soon a strong interest towards cancer biology and clinical oncology and started a Masters Course in Veterinary Oncology at Pisa University, which she completed in 2009. After 4 years working in small animal practice, she moved to Switzerland, where she completed an ACVIM residency program in Oncology and obtained the American Diploma in Oncology in 2014 . Since 2014 she has been working at “Malpensa AniCura Veterinary Clinic” as head of the Oncology Service. In 2022 she also became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Medicine. She actively works on research projects on spontaneous tumors and she is author and co-author of several peer- reviewed publications.
