Dr. Paola Valenti graduated from the University of Milan in 2005. She developed soon a strong interest towards cancer biology and clinical oncology and started a Master’ s Degree in Veterinary and Comparative Oncology at Pisa University, which she completed in 2009. In 2009 she moved to Switzerland, where she completed an ACVIM residency program in Oncology and obtained the American Diploma in Oncology in 2014. Since 2014 she has been working at “Malpensa Veterinary Hospital AniCura” as head of the Oncology Service. In 2022 she also became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 2023 she’s a member of the Credential Committee of Oncology of the European College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2024 she completed a Master’s Degree in biostatistics at the University of Padova. She actively works on research projects on spontaneous tumors and she is author and co-author of several peer- reviewed publications.
