Tenured Associate Professor in infection biology and Head of the Bacteriology and Mycology Unit of the Department of Paraclinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Norwegian University of Life Sciences. After graduating from veterinary school at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen (Germany) in 2006, Dr. rodriguez-Campos joined the Animal Health Department and VISAVET Center at the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) and obtained her PhD on molecular epidemiology of animal tuberculosis in 2012. From 2012 until 2018, she was a researcher at the Institute of Veterinary Bacteriology, Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Bern (Switzerland) where she was moreover involved in the diagnostic service and tasks of the national reference laboratory. During her time in Switzerland, she was awarded the specialist title FVH in the specialty Laboratory Medicine – Bacteriology. Since 2022 she is a de facto Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Microbiology.
