Assistant Professor of Physiology at the National Veterinary School of Toulouse in France, Aude Ferran received her Veterinary degree in 2007 and her PhD in Pharmacology in 2009. She is diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology since 2012 and is head of the examination committee of the College. She is also expert at the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety since 2014. Her principal research interests are the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of antibiotics and the bacterial resistances to antimicrobial drugs. She currently works in the research unit INTHERES at Toulouse, France where she is developing projects aiming at proposing innovative drug dosage regimens for antibiotics in veterinary species able to preserve animal and human health.
