Ana Velloso Álvarez, graduated from the University of Leon in 2010 before completing a PhD on equine osteoarthritis and the use of regenerative therapies at Auburn University. She is a specialist equine surgeon (American and European College of veterinary surgeons), and a professor at the University CEU Cardenal Herrera of Valencia, where she is chief of the equine section at the teaching hospital.
