Hans graduated from Gent Vet school in 1987, spent several years working in an equine practice in France and the UK after graduating. In 1992, he returned to Belgium to co-found Bosdreef Equine Clinic. In 1995, Hans became Diplomates of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. Hans is a senior surgeon at Bosdreef Equine Hospital, with more than 30 years of surgical experience, encompassing a high volume and extensive range of equine surgeries. His primary clinical interest involves equine surgery with a special interest in orthopaedic surgery and laparoscopy. He is a well-recognised frequent speaker at national and international specialist level and is the author of multiple scientific publications and book chapters regarding orthopaedic and laparoscopic surgery. In 2000 he revolutionized , with the Ergo Surg Pro equine surgery table, the design of the equine surgery table making it more compatible with increasingly complex operations, taking into account patient and surgeon ergonomics. www.bos-sx.be
