Overview:
St. Georges University, School of veterinary medicine invites applications for a full-time, faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology. We seek a strong team player, an innovative educator and researcher with expertise in physiology, particularly as it relates to animal health, veterinary education, and biomedical research. The successful candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary teaching, developing productive research, and service programs that can integrate with activities of other departments across SGU campus.
Objective:
- Serve as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Veterinary biomedical sciences with emphasis on Veterinary Physiology within the Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology (ANPH) Department.
 - Contribute to the department's scholarly activities, including teaching within the DVM program and research.
 
Instructional Responsibilities:
- Assist in teaching body system modules during the first and second spirals of the DVM curriculum, with an emphasis on Veterinary Physiology. Contribution in teaching across ANPH disciplines, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology and toxicology is expected.
 - Contribute to the development, teaching, and administration of the department's postgraduate degree programs.
 
Supplemental Teaching:
- Contribute to instruction across the DVM, graduate, and pre-veterinary programs.
 - Participate in Integrated Team Instruction, focusing on small-group, collaborative learning methods.
 - Engage in teaching Clinical Skills and Professionalism as part of the broader curriculum.
