St. George’s University invites applicants for a full-time faculty role, in the Small Animal Medicine and Surgery department in the School of Veterinary Medicine.
Objective
The faculty of St George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine are dedicated to upholding the mission of providing an international, culturally diverse environment in which students learn the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for postgraduate training in the Veterinary profession while being inspired to develop compassion, curiosity, tolerance and a commitment to animals and society, a dedication to life-long learning and an understanding of the vital role of research in Veterinary Medicine.
Essential Functions
Enhance the knowledge, growth, and overall development of the veterinary students through contribution to courses administered by the Department through the delivery of assigned lectures, running small groups, reviewing, and contributing to course material, developing, and reviewing exam questions. Contribution to research is also required.
Roles and Responsibilities
This position will include participation in different clinical skills courses across the curriculum. Instruction, scholarship and clinical service are expected.
